Leash Electronics offers an excellent relay board to control your nitrous solenoids and purge solenoid, works perfectly with Progressive Controllers to control power to the solenoid and function as a safety shutdown when the Throttle Switch is off. When using SSR/Solid State Relays (Drivers) like the Holley # 554-111, use of this relay to power the drivers can prevent a failed driver from keeping nitrous on after you lift the throttle.
Wiring your nitrous kit has NEVER been so easy or fast!! Simply connect your battery + and – to the board, connect the 12 volt power from your throttle switch, connect the transbrake or clutch 12 volt signal for nitrous safety so that your nitrous will not come on when you’re on the transbrake. Next connect your 12 volt purge signal from your purge button, then connect your nitrous and purge solenoids to the board and your done!!!
Available with your choice of Throttle activation input – 12 V+ positive or Ground trigger. The activation trigger is typically connected to your Nitrous System Throttle Switch, so choice if that is a positive or negative circuit. See wiring diagrams for an example. Ground Trigger is often used for EFI systems or more advanced Nitrous Progressive Controllers like the NMS1000 or AMS-2000 use the ground triggered method.
