Manton Series 5, 1/2″ Straight (No Taper) Pushrods for High to Extreme Performance Applications. Manton Series 5 Pushrods are the strongest, most durable pushrods ever produced. Utilizing 4130/4135 chromoly tubing and proprietary heat treating techniques Manton can achieve a 275,000 p.s.i. tensile strength from the tubing without causing it to become brittle.

Note: Shaft or pedestal style rocker arms should be used with this series of pushrods because the tube is not case hardened for guide plate use.

  • Mainly used in Cup, Top Fuel, Pro Modified, Blown Alcohol, Pulling Tractor, Sprint Car, Offshore Marine, and LS Series
  • Normally Aspirated, Blown, Turbo Charged or Nitrous
  • Lifter Offset (Bottom Tip)

    For BBC applications we recommend using the offset lifter option even if you are using non-offset lifters to give you increased clearance on roller lifter arm rivets.

    Top (Rocker) Tip Material

    Tool steel pushrod tips are almost always used in conjunction with tool steel rocker arm adjusting screws.
