Manton Series 5, 1/2″ Single Taper Pushrods for High to Extreme Performance Applications. Manton Series 5 Pushrods are the strongest, most durable pushrods ever produced. Utilizing 4130/4135 chromoly tubing and proprietary heat treating techniques Manton can achieve a 275,000 p.s.i. tensile strength from the tubing without causing it to become brittle.

Note: Shaft or pedestal style rocker arms should be used with this series of pushrods because the tube is not case hardened for guide plate use.

  • Tapers from 7/16″ to 1/2″
  • 5/16 Ball with oil hole STD
  • .188″ wall
  • Mainly used in Cup, Top Fuel, Pro Modified, Blown Alcohol, Pulling Tractor, Sprint Car, Offshore Marine, and LS Series
  • Normally Aspirated, Blown, Turbo Charged or Nitrous

  • For BBC applications we recommend using the offset lifter option even if you are using non-offset lifters to give you increased clearance on roller lifter arm rivets.

    Tool steel pushrod tips are almost always used in conjunction with tool steel rocker arm adjusting screws.
