Sonnax aluminum clutch spacer 34555-48 for GM TH400 transmissions is a lightweight option for reducing friction count and improving efficiency in lower-power applications. It can be used in any forward or direct clutch pack.

With an overall thickness of .5″, the Sonnax aluminum spacer replaces up to three friction plates and steel separators. It can also be machined to reduce thickness as required, but the .08″ thick Sonnax aluminum clutch steel 34555-44A is also a spacer option for 28-spline drums. Specific setup depends on builder preference, line pressure, power level, vehicle weight and racing class.
