Strange Engineering 28 or 31 Spline Alloy Axle Kit for 1986-1993 Mustang 8.8 Rear End with C-Clip Eliminator Kit and 1/2″ or 5/8″ Wheel Studs. This kit works with aftermarket disc brakes or OEM Drum Brakes.

A3100 Alloy Axles

  • Forged from modified 1550 premium steel
  • Majority of machining performed before heat treat to provide consistent hardness
  • Induction hardened to Rc 58-62 to increase torsional strength while remaining ductile
  • Finish machined after heat treat to ensure accuracy
  • 28 or 31 spline
  • Custom lengths available at no additional charge

Choice of Press-in or Screw-in Wheel Studs in either 1/2″ or 5/8″

  • Press-in 1/2″-20 OEM style studs in factory length
  • Screw-in 1/2″-20 chrome moly studs in 2″ or 3″ long
  • Screw-in 5/8-18 x 3″ Long Fully Threaded with Optional Washer Thickness
  • Screw-in studs include .060″ hardened washers
  • Length is measured from underneath the hex of the stud

C-Clip Eliminator Kit – A1090
